Early Awakening: The Call to Heal
My journey began with an early intuitive sense of being called to help others. From a young age, I felt a deep empathy for those around me, offering support and comfort to friends and family members in times of emotional distress. However, it wasn’t until later in life that my own personal struggles—emotional challenges and physical health issues—became the catalyst for a deeper spiritual awakening.
These experiences led me to seek healing beyond conventional methods and sparked my interest in holistic practices. During this period of personal transformation, I felt a strong, unmistakable call to become a healer. Recognizing the profound impact healing had in my own life, I knew my purpose was to help others heal in the same way—body, mind, and spirit.
Barbara King School of Ministry: Foundational Spiritual Training
Seeking to deepen my spiritual knowledge and understanding of holistic healing, I enrolled in the Barbara King School of Ministry in Atlanta, Georgia. The school’s curriculum, which blends spiritual ministry with energy healing, resonated deeply with my growing passion for serving others in a meaningful and transformative way. I was particularly drawn to the school’s emphasis on both the metaphysical and practical aspects of ministry.
At the Barbara King School of Ministry, I received comprehensive training in spiritual leadership and pastoral counseling. The school’s unique approach, combining traditional Christian teachings with modern spiritual practices, equipped me with the tools to guide others in their spiritual journeys and offer both emotional and spiritual support. This foundational education laid the groundwork for my future work as a healer and spiritual counselor. I was ordained as a New Thought Minister in 2020.
Reiki Healing: Discovering the Power of Energy
My introduction to Reiki, the Japanese healing practice that channels energy to promote balance and well-being, was a pivotal moment in my journey. After experiencing the profound healing effects of Reiki myself, I decided to pursue formal training.I became a certified Reiki Practitioner, eventually achieving the level of Reiki Master.
Through Reiki, I learned to channel life force energy to help clients release emotional blockages, reduce stress, and restore balance within their bodies and spirits. The practice became a central element of my healing work, allowing me to integrate energy healing with spiritual guidance to promote holistic well-being.
Apprenticeship with Dr. Mark Armstrong: Advanced Healing and Mentorship
In my quest for further spiritual and professional growth, I was invited to mentorship under Dr. Mark Armstrong, a respected expert in energy healing and holistic wellness. As an apprentice to Dr. Armstrong, I am honing my intuitive healing abilities and expanding my knowledge of advanced techniques in energy work, wellness technology and spiritual counseling.
Dr. Armstrong’s mentorship profoundly influences my approach to healing, teaching me to work with both the subtle and powerful aspects of energy. Under his guidance, I am learning how to navigate complex healing processes, integrating my Reiki training with spiritual insights to support clients on a deeper level. This mentorship helps shape me as both a healer and a teacher, committed to empowering others through healing and spiritual growth.
Pursuing Advanced Education in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine
Driven by a desire to expand my healing practice and offer even more comprehensive care, I am currently pursuing a dual doctorate/master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. This advanced education will allow me to blend the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with my existing expertise in energy healing and spiritual ministry.
My studies in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine will enable me to address physical ailments through the use of acupuncture needles, herbs, and other TCM modalities, all while continuing to promote emotional and spiritual healing. I believe that true wellness arises from a holistic approach—one that nurtures not only the mind and spirit but also the body.
By integrating these powerful healing traditions with my Reiki practice and spiritual counseling, I am expanding my ability to help others heal on multiple levels. My ongoing education in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine represents my commitment to lifelong learning and my dedication to providing the best possible care to my clients.
